Mohanlal's next is the multi-starrer China Town
The director duo had planned a 25-day schedule at Ramoji Rao film studio and in some parts of Hyderabad, but they were forced to change the location because of the film strike in Andhra.
Since the film has a huge star cast, the unit can't wait till the strike ends.
Kavya Madhavan, Poonam Bajwa and Dipasha are the heroines.
Dhanush is busy with his new film Vengai
After the mega success of Aadukalam, Dhanush is busy shooting for Vengai, directed by Hari, in Karaikudi. The coming together the of mass-masala director (especially after the super hit Singam) with Dhanush has created a buzz.
Produced by Vijay Vauhini Studio's Venkat Rama Reddy, this action entertainer has Tamannaah in the female lead.
Raj Kiran plays a pivotal role. Ganja Karuppu and Kalabhavan Mani are also in the cast.
Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and Vetri the cinematographer.
"The one line story of Vengai is simple and straight forward," says Hari. "I have worked on the premise that if a security guard takes an aruval it is ok as it is part of his job. But an angry young man should never handle such a weapon."
"Vengai will be a complete action entertainer," says Dhanush. "A mass masala, it will release next summer and will be quite a different experience."
